Agriculture Programs


UT Extension programs are open to all persons seeking information pertaining to their home, farm, and/or ranch environment. UT Extension’s goal is to provide educational programs and information that is backed by science and research.

Extension agents and specialists provide educational trainings on topics that relate to beef cattle, dairy cattle, equine, poultry, small ruminant, and swine management.

Our hope is that information provided to you improves your quality of life, environment and/or productivity. Cumberland County Livestock Producers Monthly Beef Meeting

Join the Cumberland County Livestock Producers Association and UT Extension for the September Beef Meeting featuring Dr. Gordon Jones, retired Western Kentucky Animal Science faculty member and owner/operator of Red Hill Farms. Dr. Jones will share his perspective on the beef industry, including the Beef Improvement Federation (BIF), genetics, marketing, processing, and changes within the industry. 🐂🌾

Farming Fundamentals Online Course

Build a strong foundation for your farming operation with this self-paced online course designed for new and aspiring farmers.
