Our mission is the same today as almost 100 years ago when Extension began - to release research generated information to the public in order to improve the quality of life for local citizens. Occupations, lifestyles, and technology have changed, but the need for information has not. If anything, that need is greater today than ever. UT Extension Cumberland County is a unique partnership between Cumberland County Government, The University of Tennessee, and the United States Department of Agriculture.
