Preserve The Season, Waterbath Canning Class!

There’s just something special about seeing jars lined up on the counter — especially when you made them yourself. 🌶️

Join us on July 9 at 5:30 PM at the Country Store for our Water Bath Canning: Salsa & Herbed Tomatoes class! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of safe water bath canning while preserving two summer favorites. We’ll cover proper tomato preparation, acidification requirements, processing times, and best practices for safely canning high-acid foods at home. Participants will help make both fresh salsa and herbed tomatoes while gaining the confidence and skills needed to preserve their own harvest. The cost is $40 per person, and space is limited to ensure a quality learning experience. Whether you’re new to canning or looking to expand your food preservation skills, this class is a great way to capture the flavors of summer.

Participants will help prepare and can chicken soup while gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to safely pressure can their own foods. The cost is $30 per person, and space is limited to ensure a quality learning experience. Whether you’re new to pressure canning or looking to sharpen your food preservation skills, this class is a great introduction to putting homemade meals on your pantry shelf.
