Cumberland County 4-H
Contact: Taunee Whittenbarger or W. Gregg Upchurch
Educational programs are offered through the local county school system and community clubs. There are over 110 4-H clubs at present that meet with approximately 2,600 youth between the grades of 4th through 12th. Over 60 projects are available including, but not limited to citizenship, leadership, photography, public speaking, nutrition, livestock, etc.

4-H Honor Club and All-Stars

Cumberland County 4-H Honor Club and All-Stars is an elite group of junior high and highschool students who have a particular interest in community service, leadership, character building and simply having fun. Cumberland County 4-H'ers are eligible to join the Honor Club as early as 7th grade based on approval of a membership application. All-Star membership begins in highschool and opens the door to many new and exciting opportunities. There are trips to take, scholarships to be won and people to meet through this special group.
